Smack dab in the Great Salt Lake, Antelope Island sounds like a fantasy setting, and it sort of is. Bison, bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope (surprise!), and coyotes roam the stark, otherworldly terrain like they’re starring in their own slow-mo nature documentary.
The roads here are peaceful, scenic, and a photographer’s dream — especially at golden hour, when the whole lake shimmers like a mirage. It’s salty, it’s surreal, and it’s surprisingly full of wildlife. (Canva)
