The day ended with England at 2 for no loss, replying to India’s first-innings total of 387 on a see-sawing Day 3. At stumps, Zak Crawley was unbeaten on 2, while Ben Duckett had yet to score.Earlier, KL Rahul’s stylish 100, along with valuable contributions from Rishabh Pant (74) and Ravindra Jadeja (72), helped India match England’s first-innings total. Rahul’s 177-ball effort made him only the second Indian batter after Dilip Vengsarkar to score multiple centuries at Lord’s.Pant and Rahul added 141 for the fourth wicket before Pant was run out by Ben Stokes at the stroke of lunch. Jadeja later combined with debutant Nitish Reddy (30) to add 72 runs for the sixth wicket, giving India a crucial edge in the contest.
