A popular frozen product sold at Target was recalled nationwide, the Food and Drug Administration announced Wednesday.
Food distributor One Frozen, LLC, recalled over 57,000 bags of a frozen Good & Gather rice blend after reports of undeclared shrimp in the product—a potential trigger for serious allergic reactions in some people.
Check your freezer for the recalled item and throw it out, even if you don’t have a shrimp allergy.

The recall was initiated after three customers complained of undeclared shrimp in the frozen rice blend.
For those with shellfish allergies, the recalled products pose the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. As of Sept. 10, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the affected rice mix.
If you’re a Target shopper, check your freezer for the recalled items. If you can consume shrimp, the rice mixes are otherwise safe to eat, but the FDA is still urging all consumers not to eat the products.
Instead, throw out the item and call Target Guest Relations at 800-444-0680 for a full refund.
