An emotional Mohammed Siraj on Monday opened up about the Lord’s heartbreak, where India lost the Test match by 22 runs. The last-wicket partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and Siraj had raised India’s hopes. But Siraj was bowled despite connecting the ball with the middle of his bat.Siraj admitted it took a while to overcome the defeat.“It took a lot of time. Because that match was such that, in the last, in 2021 (at Lord’s), I took the last wicket (of James Anderson). Then, in such a situation, when I was there, I thought I could do it again… Kya hai na, main bahut emotional person hoon,” he told reporters at Old Trafford.
