Chitrangada Singh has taken a strong stand against people who troll celebrities for getting cosmetic surgeries. The ‘Desi Boyz’ actress spoke openly about how stars, especially women, are often judged harshly for trying to enhance their appearance.‘It’s absolutely fine’: Her take on cosmetic enhancementsIn an interview on Varinder Chawla’s YouTube channel, Chitrangada made it clear that there is nothing wrong with someone trying to improve how they look if it helps their confidence. She said, “I think if somebody is in a visual medium and is using something to enhance themselves, it’s absolutely fine. We are evolving so I feel that unnecessary assassinating somebody’s whole character over it, I don’t approve of that at all.”Trolling is hurtfulWhile criticism can sometimes be helpful, the ‘Inkaar’ actress pointed out that there’s a big difference between that and trolling. She explained how online comments can often be cruel and shocking. “It’s ok if you have a constructive criticism but trolling is so unnecessary. Sometimes they say very demeaning stuff, and it’s very hurtful, I am shocked sometimes,” she shared.Back on the big screen: ‘Housefull 5’On the work front, Chitrangada was recently seen in ‘Housefull 5’, which hit cinemas on 6 June 2025.
