Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi’s family has been making waves on YouTube with their candid and often hilarious family vlogs. With over 700,000 subscribers and millions of views, the family’s digital content has struck a chord with viewers. But now, the focus is shifting from vlogs to the big screen, as younger son Ayushmaan Sethi confirms he’s preparing for his Bollywood debut.In a recent interview, Ayushmaan shared that he is actively pursuing a career in acting and is currently auditioning for lead roles in films and web series. “I want to make my parents’ name more famous and I want to make good movies and do good work. This is my goal,” he told Instant Bollywood. However, he admitted that he tries not to think too much about carrying forward his parents’ legacy. “Honestly, I don’t think about it because it puts a lot of pressure... I will focus on finding that,” he added.Parmeet Sethi: “The flag we are waving will be carried forward by our sons”Parmeet Sethi, proud father and actor-director himself, had heartfelt words about watching his sons step into the entertainment world. When asked about his hopes for Ayushmaan, he responded, “What can I say? His future is in front of us, the flag that we are waving will be waved by my two sons. He has become a very good actor and is working hard, so I hope that he will get a break soon.”

In an earlier interview with Screen, Parmeet revealed that both sons, Aryamann and Ayushmaan, are inclined towards showbiz. While Aryamann is currently focused on music and also harbours acting ambitions, Ayushmaan is single-mindedly pursuing acting and has been undergoing training with acclaimed coach Atul Mongia for the past 2–3 years.From small screens to big dreamsParmeet also reflected on the family’s unexpected success on YouTube, calling it a “second phase” of his career. “We thought our videos would get 20,000 to 25,000 views at most, but they ended up getting millions. We are truly grateful for it,” he said. Now, with the platform providing them with both visibility and creative space, Archana, Parmeet, and their sons are taking it more seriously, even considering it a potential backup plan.
