Grizzlies reportedly get:

  • Cole Anthony
  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
  • Four first-round picks (16th pick in 2025; unprotected 2026, 2028 and 2030)
  • 2029 first-round pick swap

Bane, a 6-foot-5 guard who was selected with the 30th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has been one of the most consistent two-way players in the league since his rookie season in Memphis. Over the last four seasons, he’s averaged 20.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.1 steals as a starter for the Grizzlies, with a career 3-point shooting percentage of 41%.

The 26-year-old now joins a young Magic squad, anchored by Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs, that finished with a 41-41 record in 2024-25 and enters next season with high aspirations.

Veteran guard Caldwell-Pope heads to Memphis, where his championship experience and all-around game should fit perfectly alongside Ja Morant and the Grizzlies after a season where they were eliminated in the Play-In after a 48-34 record during the regular season.

Anthony, the 15th pick in the 2020 Draft, has been a solid playmaker — primarily off the bench — over his first five seasons.
