Insomniac Games has unveiled a new fan-favourite costume in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5, the “Red and Blue Suit,” a design that closely mirrors Tom Holland’s final Spider-Man look from ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.The suit, which first appeared in the closing moments of ‘No Way Home’, was crafted by Peter Parker after parting ways with Stark technology. It was also said to be a visual nod to the suits worn by previous Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield while introducing a fresh, polished finish unique to Holland’s version.According to reports, the players can unlock the new suit upon reaching level 58. Unlike other in-game outfits, this one remains in its pure, cinematic form with no alternate styles, thus staying true to the MCU design.Beyond the game, Holland’s Spider-Man is set to return to the big screen in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. In a major casting reveal, ‘The Punisher’ star Jon Bernthal will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, reprising his role as Frank Castle. His involvement in the film hints at a darker, more grounded tone for Spider-Man’s next chapter. The film will see Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker, alongside returning cast members Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned). ‘Stranger Things’ breakout star Sadie Sink has also joined the ensemble, though her character remains under wraps.According to The Hollywood Reporter, early rumours suggest the film may feature multiple villains — and possibly even variants of the Hulk — though Marvel Studios has yet to confirm any plot details. With production slated to begin this summer in England, the film is scheduled to release on July 31, 2026, will be directed by Shang-Chi filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton.
