The complaint, filed by Dalia Khatoon, includes serious charges such as attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, and assault.The incident reportedly took place in the Sonator area of Ward No. 5 under Suri Municipality, Birbhum district, over a disputed plot of land registered in the name of Arshi Jahan, Hasin’s daughter from her first marriage. Locals claimed that the altercation turned violent, with Dalia suffering a head injury and requiring hospitalisation at Suri Sadar Hospital.Dalia alleged that both Hasin and her daughter attempted to kill her during the confrontation. In response, an FIR was lodged against them at Suri Police Station. Hasin also filed a counter-complaint against Kazi Farzuddin, the husband of a local Trinamool councillor.
The West Bengal Police confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. No arrests have been made yet.
