The intensity of the third Test at Lord’s reached new heights on Sunday as India dominated the morning session and fired another blow post-lunch – quite literally – with Mohammed Siraj flattening England captain Ben Stokes with a searing delivery that struck him in a painful area.Live Score: India vs England 3rd TestDuring a tense passage of play after lunch, Siraj came around the wicket and delivered a length ball that stayed low and thudded right into Stokes’ box. The England skipper, caught off-guard by the lack of bounce and speed off the surface, was left sprawled on the pitch in pain, lying on his back for a prolonged period. Ravindra Jadeja immediately walked over to check on him, while Siraj looked momentarily concerned.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. The delivery to Stokes highlighted just how tricky batting had become as the ball refused to rise off a length.Earlier in the day, India took control by reducing England to 98/4 at lunch, with Siraj finishing the session with figures of 2/11 in 7 overs. Zak Crawley, Pope, Duckett, and Harry Brook all fell in quick succession as India, having matched England’s 387 in the first innings, looked to push for a 2-1 series lead.

Brook’s dismissal to Akash Deep added to England’s woes, but it was the sight of their captain doubled over in pain that summed up India’s hostile bowling effort at Lord’s Test.
