Vineet Kumar Singh gets stranded at Dubai airport as UAE closes airspace amid missile strikes: 'Fingers crossed'
Vineet Kumar Singh was caught in Middle East geopolitical tensions while at Dubai Airport. The UAE abruptly closed its airspace following a missile strike by Iran, causing widespread flight disruptions. Singh’s Instagram post sparked concern among fans as major carriers suspended operations to conflict-affected regions, leaving passengers stranded and flights delayed.

Actor Vineet Kumar Singh finds himself caught in the chaos as geopolitical tensions flare up in the Middle East. On Monday night, the Mukkabaaz star shared an Instagram Story from Dubai Airport, just as the UAE abruptly closed its airspace following a missile strike by Iran. His update—calm but cautious—sparked concern among fans, as it came amid widespread flight disruptions across the region.Check out the post here:

He wrote, ‘I am at Dubai Airport. 9:23pm Dubai Time. Immigration done. Waiting at the Gate for my flight. Fingers crossed.’While Vineet Kumar Singh didn’t reveal his destination or flight details, his post came amid major disruptions to domestic and international air travel. The sudden closure of airspace across parts of the Middle East—including the UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar—has left many passengers stranded and flights delayed or rerouted. The airspace restrictions were imposed shortly after Iran launched a missile strike on a U.S. base in Qatar, reportedly in retaliation for attacks on its nuclear infrastructure. The sudden escalation has disrupted civilian air travel across the region, with Dubai—one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs—seeing immediate impact.Major Dubai-based carriers, including Emirates and flydubai, have suspended operations to and from conflict-affected regions. Emirates announced the cancellation of flights to Iran and Iraq—covering destinations like Baghdad, Basra, and Tehran—through at least June 30, in response to the escalating tensions.ubai Airports released a travel advisory confirming that flight operations at both Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) are facing delays, cancellations and possible diversions due to the airspace closures.“We strongly advise all travellers to check with their airline for the latest flight status before heading to the airport, and to allow extra time for their journey,” the advisory read. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised residents and travelers to stay in touch with their airlines for real-time updates. Meanwhile, it’s still uncertain if Vineet Kumar Singh’s flight was impacted or if he was heading to India or another destination. As tensions in the Middle East unfold, fans are sending him well wishes for a safe journey.
