    UAE opens Golden Visa to Indians with new changes: 6 things to know

    In a recent update and a significant policy shift, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new way for Indian citizens to obtain its prestigious Golden Visa. Now Indians don’t have to buy property or start a business to get UAE’S Golden Visa, thanks to this new pathway which is part of a pilot program.
    The government of the UAE is taking such major steps to attract global talent, strengthening the knowledge-based economy along with deepening relationships with India through economic and cultural exchange. The program aligns with the UAE–India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), signed in 2022, which promotes smoother migration, trade, and business between the two nations.
    With this new change in policy, the UAE expects more than 5,000 applicants in the first 90 days. Once successful, the program may expand to other countries.
