Sunita Ahuja is married to Govinda for more than three and a half decades, and they have two children – Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan. While she’s a star wife, she’s also now carved her own individuality as people have gotten to know her as a person through her interviews. She’s known to be brutally honest and quite candid, be it in her laughter or conversations. In a recent interview, she spoke about the kind of person she is when she’s in love.Sunita said she’s extremely possessive. She said in an interview with Instant Bollywood, “It’s faith, love and kids. It’s very necessary to have faith in each other. And love… I have faith in our love.” She elaborated, “I love like… you remember how Shah Rukh Khan loved in Darr, like that madness for love. I am also very possessive. I don’t like that my husband and my kids… I can’t share them. I am very possessive. Tshould be some possessiveness or you can’t it love, then it’s just a compromise.”She also spoke about not having her own career as she just became a housewife after getting married to Govinda. Explaining the reason for it, she said, “My mom always wanted me to be a good housewife because she was the same way. She loved Govinda a lot. She wanted me to get married, have kids. She said ‘What will you gain by becoming an actress?’ So I listened to my mom. Now, it’s been 38 years.”Sunita had earlier spoken about how she was a Bandra girl and Govinda was from Virar, still struggling to be an actor when they first met.
