South Korea’s ex-first lady Kim Keon Hee has been reportedly indicted over corruption and bribery charges.

Kim is the wife of former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was removed from office and arrested earlier this year for his short-lived declaration of martial law in December 2024.

Yoon also faces charges of insurrection over his martial law bid, which carries a maximum penalty of death.
