Sonakshi Sinha on negativity on social media; how she gives it back to trolls targeting her family: 'It’s just too much, how much will you fight'
Sonakshi Sinha is vocal about dealing with online negativity. She emphasizes the importance of speaking out, especially when family is targeted. Sinha married Zaheer Iqbal after an eight-year relationship. Currently, she is promoting ‘Nikita Roy,’ directed by her brother Kussh Sinha. She will return in ‘Dahaad 2’ and debut in Telugu with ‘Jatadhara’. She believes in standing up for oneself.

Sonakshi Sinha has always been known for her bold personality and unfiltered honesty—and she’s not holding back when it comes to dealing with online hate. In a recent chat, the actress opened up about the toll social media negativity can take and how she chooses her battles, especially when it comes to defending her family. In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Sonakshi said that she believes it’s essential to speak up against negativity, but admits it’s become increasingly difficult to deal with the sheer volume of it online. She shared that the constant presence of negativity on social media can feel overwhelming, making it hard for one person to take a stand against it all.The actress further explained that she prefers to avoid online negativity whenever possible. However, she draws the line when comments become unacceptable—especially if they target her family. In such cases, she doesn’t hesitate to speak up and believes everyone should stand up for themselves when necessary. She tied the knot with longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal last year, following an eight-year relationship. Their wedding was an intimate celebration with only close friends and family in attendance. The couple often charmed fans with their fun reels and playful chemistry. Professionally, Sonakshi is currently promoting Nikita Roy, directed by her brother Kussh Sinha. She has also confirmed her return in Dahaad 2 and is all set to make her Telugu debut with Jatadhara.
