Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024. Rumours were rife that Sonakshi’s brother Kussh S Sinha was not happy with the wedding and he did not attend it. This led to a lot of speculations. But Kussh is now making his directorial debut with ‘Nikita Roy’ which stars Sonakshi in the lead. As ETimes spoke to him regarding the film, we also asked him if all’s well between him and Sonakshi.He was happy to clear out the confusion and misinformation. Kussh told ETimes, “There’s a misinformation going on since last year. She’s my sister. I was very much there at her wedding. I don’t know who put it out that I wasn’t there. I do love my sister! There’s so much curiosity around it, but I can just say it was all misinformaton.”Kussh was also all praise for Sonakshi as he directed her. He said, “She has always been very good. ‘Lootera’ which was her 2nd or 3rd film but she was so good, of course, Vikramaditya Motwane had a lot to do with it. But she does have something special. Which is also why I wanted to work with her in Nikita Roy. An actor who is willing to put in those emotions, willing to look gritty. In my mind, there were very few actors who could do it.“Ankita The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal. ‘Nikita Roy’ is set to release on June 27.
