Optical illusion personality tests are quite popular these days. For the unversed, these are simple, fun and engaging tests that can decode a person within seconds and reveal their lesser-known personality. Intriguing, right? But how is it possible? Well, optical illusion personality tests are generally based on psychology. These are weird-looking images with one or more elements in them. Depending on what a person notices first, a lot can be decoded about their personality. For instance, this particular optical illusion personality test image was shared by @psychologylove100 on TikTok and it claims to reveal if a person is an introvert or an extrovert. The image has two main elements– a shark and a man– and a person taking this test can notice only one of them at first glance. Based on what caught your attention first, the picture can reveal a person’s true nature. To take the test, simply close your eyes and look at the image with fresh eyes. Note what you saw first and read its interpretation below:

    1. If you saw the shark first, it means…

    Shark

If your eyes were first drawn to the shark, it says a lot about your personality. You’re a confident, charismatic individual who thrives in social settings. Whether it’s a room full of strangers or familiar faces, you naturally make others feel at ease and are quick to form connections.Your extroverted vibe helps you stand out without trying too hard—people are drawn to your energy and authenticity. You’re also known for being direct and unafraid to voice your opinions, especially in disagreements. You say what you mean, and people respect your honesty, even if they don’t always agree. As the optical illusion expert explains, “Once people get to know you, it’s clear you’re refreshingly straightforward. You speak your mind without sugarcoating your thoughts. While some might misread this as bluntness, you don’t let that shake your confidence.”Your bold nature makes you someone others admire—and remember.

    2. If you saw the man first, it means…

    Man

If the first thing you noticed was the man, it reveals that you are an empathetic and kind-hearted soul. Helping others comes naturally to you, and your friends often seek your advice because of your gentle and compassionate nature.Although you might come across as a bit shy or cautious around new people, once you feel comfortable, your warmth and optimism shine through. You always find something to be hopeful about, even in difficult situations. One of your most admired qualities is your calm, easy-going demeanor. You avoid conflict whenever possible and don’t feel the need to prove yourself right in every conversation. Instead, you prefer to reflect on different perspectives before sharing your thoughts. As the optical illusion expert notes, “If someone still disagrees with you, that’s fine—you won’t argue. You believe silence speaks volumes. ‘Silence is golden’ truly feels like one of your guiding principles in life.”Was this test result true in your case or did it give a false result? Tell us about it in the comments section below. In case the test result wasn’t accurate then fret not as these tests can sometimes give vague results, as they are not scientifically proven. And if you liked this test, then do check out similar tests on our website.
