Sandeep Reddy Vanga slams actor for playing 'dirty PR games' after Deepika Padukone's controversial exit from Prabhas' Spirit: ‘You've ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are’

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of upcoming film Spirit starring Prabhas, has finally addressed Deepika Padukone’s controversial exit from the project. Without naming her directly, Vanga posted a fiery message on Twitter, accusing the actress of playing ‘dirty PR games’ and attempting to undermine the film after stepping away.Reports earlier suggested that Deepika opted out due to discomfort with the film’s bold, A-rated content and demanding shooting schedules. Interestingly, her exit was reported just a day before Triptii Dimri was announced as the new female lead. Dimri had earlier worked with Vanga in Animal.‘You didn’t get it. You won’t get it’: Sandeep’s scathing postIn a strongly worded post, Vanga wrote, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA between us. But by doing this, you’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are… Putting down a younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for?”He further added: “As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it. Aisa karo…. Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames I like this kahawath very much 🙂 खुंदक में बिल्ली खंबा नोचे!”The message, though indirect, was clearly aimed at Deepika Padukone, whose reported terms for the film allegedly included shorter work hours, a share in profits, and discomfort with Telugu dialogues, demands that were said to have clashed with the director’s vision.Rumours swirl as Triptii Dimri takes over the roleTriptii Dimri’s casting in Spirit has only intensified speculation, especially since it followed closely on the heels of Deepika’s departure. Netizens have noted the timing and tone of Vanga’s post, interpreting it as a response to stories suggesting that Deepika exited because of the film’s content and production demands. While Deepika has yet to respond to Sandeep’s remarks, her silence has only fuelled online curiosity. Fans and industry watchers are now waiting to see if she will clarify her side of the story.

Shocking! Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals ‘hostile’ behaviour of the industry

Vanga’s track record and Spirit’s scaleKnown for helming Kabir Singh and Animal, both massive box office hits, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is gearing up to deliver yet another high-voltage drama with Spirit. The film marks his first collaboration with Prabhas and his second with Triptii Dimri.Spirit is said to be an ambitious project with a bold narrative and intense characters. According to inside sources, the film will include several A-rated scenes, one of the reasons cited behind Deepika’s reported reluctance to proceed.
