She takes every decision with a clear mind,” Madhu shared.She added, “We never had a doubt that Priyanka is making a mistake. She is not impulsive. She knows that the consequences are hers. It’s the parents’ right to raise their child their way. I had my time to raise my children. Now, I’m just here to offer support, warmth and security.”
‘Children raised by grandparents are more secure’Discussing the bridge between traditional upbringing and modern parenting, Madhu said, “It happens with the heart and the mind. The heart makes mistakes, the mind corrects them.”She stressed the value of having elders in the home: “Children raised by grandparents are more secure and grounded. Parents today are career-driven — they give quality time, but someone needs to be around for the child’s comfort.”She added, “It’s the cycle of life. If we do good, we get to be part of our grandchildren’s lives. I’m just very glad they let me in.”
