Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski, during a news conference on Russia’s drone incursion, said he hopes for a strong reaction from President Donald Trump.
“Putin laughs at President Trump’s peace efforts,” Sikorski told reporters. “Since Alaska, he has only intensified the war. I hope that [Trump] backs his words with action.”
Last week, Trump pledged to help Poland protect itself during a bilateral meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki at the White House.
