Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem has raised concerns about unfulfilled promises made after his victory at the Paris Olympics. He specifically points to issues regarding promised land plots.Nadeem secured gold at the Paris Games with an Olympic record throw of 92.97m, surpassing Neeraj Chopra, who won silver at the Stade de France last year. “Out of all the prize announcements made for me, all the plot announcements were fake, which I did not receive. Apart from that, I have received all the cash prizes that were announced,” Geo TV quoted him as saying.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW!Nadeem’s achievement marked Pakistan’s first gold medal in track and field, leading to numerous rewards from government authorities, provincial bodies, and private organisations. Despite these challenges, Nadeem remains committed to his preparation for the upcoming World Championships in September.“My entire focus is on myself, but apart from that, we train any youth who comes to us for training, and this training is given by my coach Salman Butt,” he stated.

Recent reports from A Sports indicate that Nadeem has undergone successful muscle surgery in the United Kingdom. The procedure was necessary due to a calf injury that has kept him away from competitions. The surgery was performed in Cambridge under Dr Ali Bajwa’s supervision. Medical experts discovered partial damage to the 28-year-old’s calf muscle, requiring immediate surgical intervention. His coach, Butt, expressed uncertainty about the timeline for recovery. Nadeem is expected to compete against Neeraj Chopra at the Diamond League event in Silesia, Poland, on August 16, marking their first face-off since the Paris Olympics.
