Optical illusion personality test: Stars, angels, or ice skaters? What you spot first reveals if you are creative, high achiever, or a logical thinker

Optical illusion personality tests are quite popular among people as they claim to reveal a person’s true traits in just a few minutes. One may wonder, how? Well, these are weird-looking images that trick the eyes and hence called optical illusion. However, since these images are based on psychology, depending on what a person noticed first in such images can reveal a person’s hidden or lesser-known personality traits. For instance, this painting– which also acts as an optical illusion– was created by Robert Gonsalves, a Canadian artist. At first glance a person can either notice stars, angels, or ice skaters on a cold, winter night in the painting. Depending on what catches a person’s attention first, it is said that the image can reveal their true nature and tell if they are creative, a high achiever, or a logical thinker.

To take this test, simply close your eyes and relax. Now, open your eyes and look at the above image. Notice what caught your attention first, and read its interpretation below:

    1. If you saw the angels or flying people first, then it indicates…

You’re a natural daydreamer who loves to imagine your goals before going after them. You enjoy visualizing success and believe in the power of a good plan to get there. While you do use logic when needed, your true strength lies in your creativity. You think outside the box, often coming up with fresh ideas and unique approaches. You’re someone who blends imagination with intention—seeing the big picture while also figuring out the steps to reach it. This balance of vision and planning makes you both a dreamer and a doer, with a creative mind leading the way.

    2. If you saw the stars first, then it indicates…

You’re a natural high achiever in life— someone who sets big goals and knows how to reach them. Leadership comes naturally to you, and you’re driven to succeed in whatever you take on. What makes you stand out is the perfect balance between logic and creativity. You can think strategically while also coming up with original ideas, making you both practical and innovative. Whether it’s solving problems or leading a team, you use both sides of your brain to your advantage. You don’t just dream big—you make things happen with focus, determination, and a smart mix of thought and imagination.

    3. If you saw the ice skaters first, then it indicates…

If you saw the ice skaters first, you’re someone who relies heavily on logic and clear thinking. You like to stay grounded in reality and prefer facts over fantasy. Dreamy ideas don’t appeal to you—you value clarity and straightforwardness, often seeing things in black and white rather than navigating the grey. You like to know exactly what’s happening around you. Experts suggest that people who notice the skaters tend to see the big picture in life thus viewin situations as a whole, and making smart decisions logically. This prevents them from getting distracted by smaller issues and stay focussed on bigger goals in life. How true was this particular test result for you?
