Optical illusion personality test: Hands or brain? What you see first tells if you are too trusting or suspicious of others

Optical illusion personality tests are fun and engaging tests that can reveal a person’s true personality within seconds. These tests are fascinating and quite popular on social media. These are picture-based tests that look quite weird and trick the eyes, hence called optical illusion. These images have one or more elements in them, and depending on what catches a person’s attention first a lot can be decoded about them, as these pictures are based on psychological principles. This particular image, which was initially shared by Mia Yilin on TikTok, claims to reveal if a person is too trusting or suspicious of others. At first glance, a person can either see a bunch of human hands in it or a human brain and what they notice first can tell a lot about their true nature. So, ready to know yourself better? Simply relax and look at the above image with fresh eyes. Notice what caught your attention first and read its interpretation below:

    1. If you saw human hands first, it means…

If you first noticed the many hands in the artwork, you tend to place great trust in others. Mia notes, “Seeing the hands first means you’re an overly trusting person. You rarely expect the worst, and even when someone hurts you, you’re quick to forgive—provided they apologize.”Yet you’re not blind to red flags. You recognize when someone crosses the line and understand the need to set boundaries. As Mia explains, “If someone insults your family or takes credit for your hard work, you’ll hold a grudge forever.” Your forgiving nature has limits— especially when personal values or loved ones are attacked.

    2. If you saw a brain first, it means…

If the first thing you noticed was the brain, you’re famously logical and socially astute—always sensing when someone isn’t quite on the level. As Mia observes, “Spotting the brain first means you have uncanny intuition. You can tell when people are scheming behind your back.”But you don’t rush to call them out. Instead, you quietly plan your next move, handling problems without tipping off toxic individuals. “You often choose to sit back and watch their performance—after all, why spoil the drama?” adds Mia, the puzzle aficionado. Your strategic mindset and cool detachment make you a master at navigating tricky social dynamics. How true is this particular test result for you? Tell us about it in the comments section below. If you liked this test, also check out similar tests on our website. Also, do share them with your friends and family to know them better.
