'My sister is guilty, I will make sure she is punished': Sonam Raghuwanshi's brother Govind meets Raja's family; offers heartfelt apology

INDORE: Govind Raghuwanshi, brother of prime accused Sonam Raghuwanshi, visited the house of murder victim Raja Raghuwanshi on Wednesday afternoon and offered a heartfelt apology to the grieving family. Expressing deep regret, Govind assured Raja’s relatives that he stands firmly with them and will support all efforts to ensure his sister is held accountable. He publicly stated that Sonam is guilty and must be punished for the crime she has committed. While addressing the media, Govind said he had no connection with the other three accused in the case and only knew Raj Kushwaha, who worked in their family business. “She (Sonam) has not confessed yet that she has committed the murder, but considering the evidence, I am sure that she has planned the murder. I have apologised to Raja’s family,” said Sonam Raghuvanshi’s brother.“Raj was only a staff member, and I have no idea about his exact role in the incident,” he said.He added that he had met Sonam for just two minutes after her arrest and was not able to speak to her in detail. “She did not confess anything to me,” he added further.Govind’s strong stance against his sister has added a new dimension to the case. “My sister is guilty and I will make sure she is punished,” he said, reiterating his support for justice for Raja Raghuwanshi.
