Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning Box Office Collection Day 14: Tom Cruise starrer slows down on third weekend after crossing Rs 80 crore mark in India

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is showing signs of fatigue at the Indian box office as it enters its third weekend. According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned an estimated Rs 1.75 crore on its 14th day (Friday), a slight dip from Thursday’s Rs 1.80 crore. Despite the slowdown, the film has managed to cross the Rs 80 crore mark, with its total collection now standing at approximately Rs 82.90 crore. The Tom Cruise-led action spectacle opened strong, raking in Rs 54.4 crore in its first week. However, collections dropped in the second week, bringing in an estimated Rs 26.75 crore. Of the film’s total earnings in India, around Rs 52.1 crore has come from English-language screenings alone. While The Final Reckoning has performed solidly, it still lags behind its predecessor, Dead Reckoning Part One, which earned Rs 98.35 crore in the Indian market.Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film features an ensemble cast including Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, Angela Bassett, and Pom Klementieff. Despite its decent showing in India, the film faces the uphill task of recouping its hefty $400 million production budget.Still, The Final Reckoning, alongside other recent Hollywood releases like Final Destination: Bloodlines and Lilo & Stitch, has helped breathe new life into the Indian box office, as well as the global box office. In India, the three films have raked in an estimated Total collection of Rs 138 crore. As the film continues its theatrical run, the coming weeks will be pivotal in determining its long-term success—both in India and globally.
