At 59, Milind Soman continues to redefine what it means to be fit and fearless. The supermodel-turned-actor—who became a household name with Made in India back in the ’90s—is still as energetic and grounded as ever. Here, let’s take a look at the impressive fitness routine of Milind Soman.Laziness is the biggest challenge, Milind saysTalking to Hindustan Times, Milind Soman said, “Laziness is the biggest challenge in fitness. I don’t like waking up early, so that’s my challenge. But to get more energetic, one has to keep moving. Once you overcome the mental block, you can overcome anything.” He further said that he works out only for 10 to 12 minutes a day and also doesn’t follow any strict diet. For Milind, he consumes whatever he feels like eating.Building strength from withinMilind’s routine is all about building strength from within, whether it’s running barefoot marathons or walking and cycling across hundreds of kilometers.

Recently, as part of the #FitIndianRun initiative, he pushed himself through 330 kilometers in three days—a journey he called one of the most “strenuous and fulfilling” of his life. For Milind, fitness doesn’t need fancy gym memberships or intense equipment, as his workouts include running, walking, and cycling. What’s on his plate? Nothing fancy—just real foodWhen it comes to food, Milind believes in keeping things natural. No diets, no fads—just wholesome meals cooked at home.He starts his day with water, eats fruits and nuts for breakfast, and keeps his lunch traditional—rice or rotis, dal, vegetables, and a spoonful of ghee. Dinner is simple and early, often a bowl of khichdi or lightly cooked vegetables. He does eat meat occasionally, but it’s rare. What does he avoid completely? Anything processed or overly packaged.More than just muscles: His mantra for a balanced lifeMilind’s approach to health isn’t just about how he looks—it’s about how he feels. He listens to his body, rests when needed, and never pushes himself to extremes. Fitness, for him, isn’t a goal—it’s just a part of life. He treats food with respect, focuses on staying mentally at peace, and embraces the joy of movement every single day. It’s this gentle, consistent balance that keeps him ageless—and truly inspirational.
