Kajol is back on screen and her fans can’t be more elated. The makers finally unveiled the film’s trailer at a grand launch event today in the city. While Kajol stars in the film, Ajay Devgn has produced the film. So, he was also present at the launch event. As the film’s title says ‘Maa’, Kajol and Ajay’s son Yug also attended the launch to cheer for his mom.The trailer shows how Kajol and her daughter go to a house which is inside the forest which seems haunted by some evil power. The film is a mythological horror film. As this is an unknown place, Kajol tells her daughter to not go anywhere without asking her but she still goes inside the forest out of curiousity and a demon drags her away. The 2minute, 24 seconds trailer also shows that many small baby girls are sacrificed and killed because the demon needs their blood.Will Kajol be able to save her daughter from this? The movie will tell. The trailer has all the spoofy feels which leaves you intrigued and asking for more. It has more depth than just what meets the eye. ‘Maa’ also gives the vibe of ‘Shaitaan’ and it’s also from the same producers.WATCH the trailer here:Ajay revealed the reason for making this mythological horror film and said, “I realised horror films and horror comedies are being made but nobody has attempted a mytho-horror film. We have been hearing such mythological stories but nobody has attempted it. Hollywood makes characters which have no mythological stories. We have them. But still nobody has ever attempted it. Hence, we made it.” The actor also said that he thought of casting Kajol for the film because it was such a strong role and it was obvious to cast her. ‘Maa’ is set to release on June 27.
