Love Island USA’ Season 7 Premiere Delayed by Over 40 Minutes – Fans Vent on Social Media
The long-awaited Season 7 premiere of Love Island USA didn’t go quite as planned for Peacock – and fans were quick to react.
On Tuesday, June 3, Love Island USA Season 7 was scheduled to premiere at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Peacock. However, viewers were left waiting when the episode didn’t drop on time. Just after the scheduled release, Peacock posted an update on X (formerly Twitter), announcing a delay.
“WE GOT A TEXT! 👀 Tonight’s episode will be slightly delayed. But it is worth the wait ❤️🔥🏝 Stay tuned! #LoveIslandUSA,” the platform shared.
What was initially promised as a brief delay turned into more than 40 minutes of waiting. Meanwhile, Canadian viewers reported that the episode was available on the CTV streaming platform without delay.
Frustrated fans quickly took to social media to express their disappointment.
“The Love Island delay was straight evil,” one X user posted.
Another joked, “I survived the great Love Island delay of 2025.”
One fan wrote, “40-minute delay is CRAZYYYY. Count your days, Peacock.”
Nearly 45 minutes after the original air time, Peacock finally made the episode available.
“Thank you for your patience! The #LoveIslandUSA episode is officially live now. Enjoy the premiere 💖,” the streamer confirmed.
Despite the rocky start, the Love Island USA Season 7 premiere eventually aired, introducing fans to 10 new Islanders ready to find love in the Fiji villa.
