'Kuberaa' box office collection day 2 (LIVE): Dhanush's film sees a huge jump, likely to cross Rs 25 crore on Saturday

‘Kuberaa’, which was released in theaters amid great expectations, captivated audiences from the very first scene and set a record. The film, which stars Dhanush in the lead role, also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film became a huge pan-Indian film dubbed in multiple languages even before its release.

    A solid opening

‘Kuberaa’ has registered a strong opening in India, collecting Rs. 13 crore on its first day, as per Sacnilk. Of this, the Telugu version collected Rs. 8.75 crore and the Tamil version collected Rs. 4.25 crore. The reception marked a major pan-India achievement for Dhanush. After a strong reception on the opening day, the emotional drama peaks well on the second day (Saturday).

Day 2 sees a strong hike

The second day’s morning shows saw 40.77% occupancy, which then increased further to 42.85% for the afternoon shows. On the second day, ‘Kuberaa’ collected Rs. 5.89 crores till afternoon shows, and the film is set to earn better occupancy for evening and night shows. The total collection of the film has now surpassed Rs. 18.89 crores, and the film is likely to surpass Rs 25 crore overall at the end of day 2.

    ‘Kuberaa’ set to peak

‘Kuberaa’ has been praised for its unique storyline, sharp direction, and powerful acting. The background music by Devi Sri Prasad and the cinematography by Niketh Bommi also captivated the audience. Sunday (day 3) collection of the film is expected to increase further. The film industry is confident that Dhanush’s powerful performance and the excellence of the direction will make ‘Kuberaa’ one of the biggest hits of the year.
