Karisma Kapoor, celebrating her 51st birthday, expressed gratitude for the support she received following the death of her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, who passed away on June 12 due to a heart attack during a polo match. Kareena Kapoor shared a touching birthday tribute to her sister, acknowledging the difficult year they’ve faced together and highlighting Karisma’s strength.

Karisma Kapoor marked her 51st birthday with a quiet moment of gratitude, breaking her silence for the first time since the untimely death of her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur. In a heartfelt note shared on social media, the actor thanked fans and friends for their support during what has been an emotionally trying time. Sunjay’s sudden passing on June 12 cast a shadow over the celebrations, but Karisma’s quiet strength and her family’s support, especially sister Kareena Kapoor’s touching tribute, stood out amid the grief.Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Karisma wrote a sombre note, which read, “Thank you everyone for ur warm wishes and support (red heart and folded hands emoticons).” This is the first time Karisma has shared a note after the death of Sunjay Kapur.Check out her post here:
