That picture, plus another sneak peek from the set showing some high-tech camera gear, has gone completely viral! Fans are absolutely convinced this is his incredible transformation to play the divine Indra, and they’re showering the casting choice with tons of love and speculation. A comment read, “Bro was born for the role of gods.” “Looks like Superman, though,” commented another fan. “They actually cooked with this casting ngl,” read another comment.In a prior interview with News18, Kunal Kapoor shared his enthusiasm for the film, emphasizing its potential to be “something very special” that truly honors the story. He expressed his excitement, anticipating that audiences will be “surprised by what they see.” Kapoor described Ramayana as an unprecedented “spectacle on a scale that nobody has seen before,” confirming its release is slated for late next year.The expansive cast of Ramayana further includes Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Sheeba Chaddha, and Arun Govil in key roles. The highly anticipated film is planned for a two-part release, with the first installment set to hit theaters on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in 2027.
