What is The Polished Man campaign?
The Polished Man campaign is a global initiative aimed at ending violence against women and children. Each October, supporters are encouraged to paint one fingernail – often blue – as a symbol of solidarity and awareness. The single painted nail serves as a powerful conversation starter, representing the 1 in 5 children who experience violence before the age of 18.
The campaign seeks to drive global conversation, raise critical funds, and promote prevention programs. Men and women alike are encouraged to participate, using their nails to help turn difficult conversations into meaningful action.
