Sunrisers Hyderabad have named former Indian pace bowler Varun Aaron as their bowling coach for the 2026 IPL season. He will succeed James Franklin, the former New Zealand left-arm fast bowler.“A fiery addition to our coaching staff! This ability quickly caught the attention of national selectors.The cricket administration at that time had plans to develop both Aaron and another emerging fast bowler, Umesh Yadav. While Umesh went on to play more than 50 Test matches, Aaron’s career was hampered by frequent injuries.After retiring from cricket, Aaron worked as a television commentator before accepting his new role with the Hyderabad team.
