India were forced to admit defeat in the 3rd Test in excruciating fashion as the visitors fell 22 runs short of the target set by England at Lord’s. On Day 5, the match turned into a ‘pressure cooker situation’ after England bowlers stormed through the Indian batting order. The defeat meant that India were left to rue the missed chances and dropped chances, falling behind in the series despite playing some very good cricket over the course of the last five days. The 4th Test is set to commence on the 23rd of July at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester.
