Arc System Works has posted the official gameplay trailer for Unika in Guilty Gear Strive, the third DLC character in the game’s fourth season.
Unika’s arrival also includes two additional battle stages, New Dawn, A Future Unfolding, and In the Name of Peace. The latest patch notes detail the full extent of the associated update. Unika’s theme song, “CARPE DIEM,” is also streaming.
Voiced by Yui Ishikawa (NieR:Automata, Attack on Titan), Unika’s story arc is spread across both anime and game, instilling a unified narrative thread across different media. Unika will join the game’s roster on May 27, 2025, as part of its fourth season.
In the Dual Rulers anime, Unika is driven by the chaotic goal of eliminating all Gears. As a result, she attempts a direct assassination attempt on series veterans Ky Kiske and Dizzy, naturally making her the central adversary of their son, Sin Kiske.
Guilty Gear Strive is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
