    Dipika Kakar shares first post from the hospital as she gets discharged after liver cancer surgery; says ‘Free from tumour, first part of treatment done’

    Dipika Kakar shares first post from the hospital as she gets discharged after liver cancer surgery; says 'Free from tumour, first part of treatment done'

    Television actress Dipika Kakar recently underwent a challenging 14-hour long surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. Following three days in the ICU, she was moved to a regular ward and has been recovering steadily. On June 12, Dipika was discharged from the hospital and shared her first photos from her room, expressing relief and gratitude. She informed her fans that she is now tumour-free and that the first phase of her treatment has been completed. The actress shared a heartfelt note on Instagram along with photos featuring the medical team and hospital staff. In her emotional caption, Dipika wrote, ““11 Days of being here and now home… Free from the tumour… but this is one part of the treatment done… remaining will follow in the coming time… and mujhe yakeen hai I will sail through that too as i said before.”She continued, “Ye 11 din mushkil the but because of the amazing ppl we had around… things went smooth… there was suffering but it was all handled with a lot of warmth by everyone at the kokilabenhospital.”She thanked the hospital and medical staff and said, “And my biggest strength has been the love , prayers & blessings that u all have showered on me…. Dil Se thank u… bahut himmat mili aap sabka pyaar dekhke. Aage bhi yahi pray kijiyega ki my treatment further goes smoothly & i get the strength to go thru that as well… Lots Of Love to all…”After Dipika arrived home from hospital, Shoaib shared his emotions in a vlog and said, “She got discharged after 11 days and has to come for a check-up after a week. These past few days have been incredibly difficult for me and my family, but we’re thankful for everyone’s prayers and support. This is just one part; a lot of things are still ahead.”After being discharged on June 12, Dipika finally reunited with her son Ruhaan and other family members, creating a heartwarming and emotional moment filled with joy and relief.
