Akshay Kumar’s production house had also taken legal action and sued Rawal. Meanwhile, now after Rawal has returned to the franchise, a latest report has quoted a source stating what exactly happened and what made Paresh return to the movie.A source was quoted by Mid-day saying, “Paresh’s stance initially softened when Akshay firmly defended him at the Housefull 5 trailer launch, where a journalist called the senior actor ‘foolish’ for leaving Hera Pheri 3. Then on Paresh’s birthday, Akshay called to wish him. The superstar told him that while movies will come and go, their friendship should withstand the test of time as they go back a long way. After that, the two met along with Suniel (Shetty).“Thus, that’s when thing sorted between them. For those not in the know, here’s what had happened at the trailer launch of ‘Housefull 5’. Akshay was asked by a journalist that people on the internet are saying that ‘Paresh Rawal is really foolish to leave the franchise.’ When asked to react to this, Akshay took a stand and said, “Firstly, I’ll like to tell you that using such kind of word for my co-star, foolish, is something I’d not appreciate. That’s not right. I have been working with him for the last 32 years. We are very good friends. He’s a great actor. I really admire him.”Meanwhile, Priyadarshan also reacted to the news of Rawal returning to ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and told Mid-day, “Both Akshay and Paresh called to say that everything is sorted. I was in shock when Paresh said, ‘Sir, I’m doing the movie’. He added, ‘I have never had anything except a lot of respect for you. I’ve done 26 movies with you, and I’m sorry to have left the film. There were some personal issues.’ He said that Akshay, Suniel, and he met cordially and sorted it out.”
