Did Deepika Padukone exit Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit due to A-rated scenes with Prabhas? Here's what we know
Deepika Padukone reportedly left Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ over disagreements about working hours, Telugu dialogues, and bold scenes. Triptii Dimri replaced her as the female lead. The film promises intense, A-rated sequences. Vanga praised Triptii’s comfort with the role, confirming her casting officially.

Did Deepika Padukone exit Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit due to bold scenes with Prabhas? Here’s what we knowRecent reports suggest that Deepika Padukone is no longer part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’, allegedly due to disagreements over her working hours, reluctance to speak Telugu dialogues, and demands for high income and profit sharing. Although these details remain unverified, Triptii Dimri has been confirmed as the female lead opposite Prabhas. According to the report, the film will include bold, A-rated sequences. And it might be one of the reasons why Deepika chose to walk out of the highly anticipated film. Bold and Intense Content in ‘Spirit’A source revealed Pinkvilla that while the story-telling of ‘Spirit’ is that of a quintessential Telugu entertainer, that has all the hero moments, the filmmaker is bringing a twist to the genre by spinning in an ‘A-Rated’ twist. Apart from the use of ample blood in the action scenes, ‘Spirit’ will also boost a lot of bold sequences featuring the two leads. Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to cast an actress, who would be comfortable with the sequences written on paper. He has promised a comfortable and professional atmosphere on the sets amidst the shoot to Triptii.Original Script and Creative DifferencesThe portal also reported that the bold scenes were part of the original script even during Deepika Padukone’s negotiations for ‘Spirit’. However, both she and the director had agreed to soften the content. Deepika’s exit sparked headlines, with some reports blaming her unprofessionalism, though many fans defended her demands as reasonable on social media.Triptii Dimri’s Previous Collaboration with VangaMeanwhile, Triptii Dimri has previously teamed up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga in ‘Animal’, starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor, where she also took on bold roles. Announcing her role in Spirit, Vanga stated, “The female lead for my film is now official.”
