Deepika Padukone skipped Cannes, then served a Cannes-worthy look in Stockholm instead!
Amidst rumors of her departure from a film project, Deepika Padukone captivated attention at a Cartier event in Stockholm. She showcased a striking red Ashi Studio gown, complemented by Cartier’s Pavocelle necklace featuring a stunning 58.08 carat sapphire.

While rumours swirled around her departure from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, Deepika Padukone was busy making waves thousands of miles away in Stockholm. The global icon jetted off to Sweden to attend a glamorous soirée hosted by Cartier, where the luxury maison unveiled its latest high jewellery collection, En Équilibre. Amid a sea of international stars, it was Deepika who stole the spotlight, proving once again why she’s a red carpet favourite on the global stage. She may have missed Cannes this year, but with this dazzling appearance, Deepika more than made up for it, delivering a look that rivalled any seen on the French Riviera.

Deepika, styled by long-time collaborator Shaleena Nathani, turned the soirée into her personal runway, sharing photos from the night with the caption “Hej (Hi) from Stockholm.” Draped in a dramatic blood-red ensemble from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2023 line, Deepika balanced modern edge with timeless elegance. Her ensemble featured a floor-grazing robe with sculptural detailing and a strapless gown underneath – bold yet refined, and a perfect canvas for Cartier’s exquisite jewels. All eyes were on the Pavocelle necklace from the En Équilibre collection – featuring a jaw-dropping 58.08 carat sapphire cabochon, nestled among delicate openwork motifs inspired by a peacock’s majestic plumage. She paired it with understated diamond earrings to let the necklace do the talking. Her beauty look was equally flawless, slicked-back hair with a side part, luminous skin, shimmery nude eyes, and glossy nude-brown lips. Minimal yet impactful, the glam elevated the statement ensemble further.

The internet couldn’t get enough. “Looking superior,” gushed Orry, while fans flooded her comments calling her a “queen” and lamenting her absence at Cannes. “This is what you call an outfit,” one follower wrote. Deepika may have skipped the French Riviera this year, but in Stockholm, she delivered fashion royalty and the world noticed.

How to know if your hair fall is normal?

Deepika Padukone’s appearance at the Cartier event in Stockholm was nothing short of a fashion masterclass. With her striking red ensemble, exquisite jewellery, and signature poise, she effortlessly cemented her place among the world’s most stylish icons. Whether or not she appears in Spirit, Deepika’s presence continues to speak volumes – on red carpets, at global galas, and beyond.
