Recently, in an interview, Chunky amusingly told how he once attended a funeral solely to make some extra cash.Early Career Struggles and MisunderstandingIn an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chunky reflected on a memorable experience from earlier in his career. He admitted, “That was my mistake. Yes, I attended the funeral, but not out of choice. See, in those days, there was no source of income for actors besides going to events or doing movies. There was no YouTube, Instagram, or even ads at that time, as it was a different era.” He revealed that an event organiser once invited him to attend a brief event, asking him to wear white, which he assumed was simply the dress code. However, when he arrived, he realized it was actually a funeral, and the crowd was surprised to see him there.The Funeral Incident and Payment OfferThe actor shared a surprising experience from the event, recalling, “I suddenly saw a dead body in front of me and thought the organiser had passed away.” He soon learned that he was actually there for a funeral. Feeling unable to react in such a solemn moment, the organiser joked, “Agar aap royenge na, toh thoda zyada paisa milega”. Since Chunky isn’t very emotional, he chose not to cry to avoid bursting into laughter.
