BTS members Jimin and Jungkook surprised fans with an impromptu Weverse live on Sunday (July 13), once again lighting up feeds with their trademark chaotic energy. Since their military discharge last month, the duo, fondly known as Jikook, have been practically inseparable. They’re currently in Los Angeles alongside RM, Suga, and V (who recently arrived from Paris), working together on BTS’s much-anticipated upcoming album.

During the livestream, Jimin and Jungkook gave fans a few behind-the-scenes tidbits, revealing that they’ve already decided on their comeback song. While they held back on dropping any major spoilers, their excitement was clear. The live was filled with playful banter, including a hilarious moment where they mimicked Taehyung and a few light-hearted exchanges that reminded fans why Jikook lives rent-free in ARMY’s heart.

Jimin and Jungkook spill details on BTS’ upcoming comeback

During their last OT7 live, BTS revealed plans for a full-group comeback in spring 2026 and confirmed they will be working out of the US to prepare for it. Now, Jungkook and Jimin, who recently flew to the States with Suga after RM’s arrival, have shared that their song for the comeback is already finalised.

Jungkook, ever the eager spoiler king, was ready to drop hints, but Jimin, tapping into his responsible hyung mode, kept him in check and playfully stopped him before he could reveal too much. Though details remain under wraps, the update has only heightened anticipation for BTS’ long-awaited return.

    Jimin and Jungkook school sasaengs

BTS are no strangers to dealing with sasaengs, obsessive fans who invade their privacy, and the issue surfaced again during Jimin and Jungkook’s recent Weverse live. At one point, someone repeatedly tried to log into their account mid-broadcast, visibly frustrating Jimin.

Clearly flustered, he addressed the intrusion directly, saying, “You already know too much about us. In fact, you know everything about us, so can you please stop?”

🐥: Who keeps trying to break into my id againnnn!!
🐰: Yeah. Can you stop sending me verification code too
    🐥: Stop it
🐰: We know you already know all our info
🐥: Stop it, we got no more info left to leak so stop it just stopp
    🐥: Stop calling too pic.twitter.com/P8XWsq1fOa

This incident follows a recent case involving Jungkook, who became a victim of sasaeng behaviour when a Chinese fan allegedly attempted to break into his home on the very day he was discharged from the military.

Jungkook’s shoutout to K-Pop Demon Hunters

After RM caused a stir at the Netflix headquarters by casually mentioning Soda Pop from K-pop Demon Hunters during their last live, fans were quick to pick up on another subtle nod in Jungkook and Jimin’s recent stream. At one point, Jungkook was caught humming Soda Pop, sparking even more curiosity.

While he didn’t comment on it directly, the moment didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who now believe that Jungkook and RM might share similar taste when it comes to music picks from upcoming projects. Given the buzz around K-pop Demon Hunters, even a small reference like this was enough to get ARMY talking.

Other chaotic moments from the Jikook live included them just giggling and mimicking and trolling V.

    Taehyung goes live solo

Right after Jimin and Jungkook wrapped up their live, V (Kim Taehyung) went live separately to spend some time with fans. He shared that he had stepped out to grab a bite, and by the time he got back, their live had already ended. Chatting casually, Taehyung admitted that he misses ARMY but added with a smile that it felt a bit too direct to just come out and say it plainly.

Earlier today, Jimin shared a few candid photos of himself taken by RM during a casual stroll around the city. Around the same time, RM posted a carousel of his own with the caption “me cook (yes america),” teasing his work on BTS’s next album.

Meanwhile, Jin is currently in Japan for the latest stop on his #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, while J-Hope recently took the stage as a headliner at Lollapalooza Berlin.
