Less than a month after receiving his life sentence, Bryan Kohberger wrote a desperate handwritten plea to prison officials asking to be transferred from his cell block. Dated July 30, the letter, now circulating online, describes constant flooding in his cell and relentless verbal harassment from fellow inmates. Kohberger claimed prisoners shouted sexual threats, with one even vowing to assault him. An incident report later confirmed he was targeted with vulgar language on multiple occasions. However, despite substantiating the harassment, officials denied his request, citing no clear aggressor. Staff reportedly told Kohberger to remain in J-block, calling it calmer than his previous unit. The convicted killer, who admitted to murdering four Idaho students, continues to serve his sentence at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution.
