Bhushan Kumar promises to NEVER cast Diljit Dosanjh again in a film as he gets permission to continue shooting with him in 'Border 2': 'His portions in the film are shot already..'

Diljit Dosanjh has been making headlines ever since he dropped the trailer of ‘Sardaarji 3’ which starred Hania Aamir. The singer, actor was criticised for casting her. Now amidst this backlash, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) had demanded that Diljit shouldn’t be allowed to be a part of ‘Border 2’. There was a ban on him which is now lifted. Diljit slammed all the speculations about his exit from ‘Border 2’ as he dropped a still while resuming work for the movie. Now, president of FWICE, BN Tiwari has revealed why the ban on Diljit was lifted. He told India Today, “We have met Bhushan Kumar twice and he requested that since they have shot with Diljit’s portions in the film already, and they only have a song left to shoot with him. He said he is at a juncture where he can’t have Diljit to leave the film but in future, he said that he won’t take anyone who is the middle of a dispute.”Meanwhile, Bhushan Kumar was also quoted by the publication saying, “Will never cast Diljit Dosanjh in future films. Have issued a letter to the federation.”Ashoke Pandit who is the the president of the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association, said that the ban is lifted only in case of ‘Border 2’. He said, “Our non-cooperation against Diljit continues so anybody else works with him in another film, then he should be ready for facing huge losses. The federation will not bow down and the federation will not be responsible for the heavy losses suffered by that producer. It’s a call we have taken in good sense and for welfare of he industry. There is no Pakistani actor in the film and then the film is based on security forces, so all these things are considered by the federation.”Diljit shared a video on his Instagram where he was seen smirking and flaunting his look from ‘Border 2’. He shared this BTS video from the shoot, disclosing the fact that he’s very much a part of the film amidst all the speculations. He wrote, “BORDER 2 🎬” Meanwhile, ‘Sardaarji 3’ released in Pakistan and Diljit also shared how well it is doing there with the numbers coming in.
