‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ box office collections day 3: Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s film collects Rs 16 crores
Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s romantic comedy, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf,’ has garnered ₹16 crores at the Indian box office over its opening weekend. The film witnessed steady growth, fueled by positive word-of-mouth and stellar performances. Directed by Karan Sharma, the movie features a talented ensemble cast, adding charm to its quirky time-loop plot.

Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s latest romantic comedy ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ has managed to have a decent performance at the Indian box office over its opening weekend. According to Sacnilk reports, the film has earned Rs 16 crores in India net collections within three days, showing steady growth driven by positive word of mouth and strong performances by the lead cast.Strong Weekend GrowthThe film opened on Friday with Rs 7 crores and saw a healthy rise on Saturday, collecting Rs 9 crores (rough data), marking a 28.57% jump in collections. Sunday’s earnings were yet to be finalized at the time of reporting, but early estimates suggest the film crossed the Rs 16 crore mark in total, signaling a promising trend for its theatrical run. The movie’s quirky time-loop plotline and romantic comedy setup have drawn audiences, particularly in urban centers, looking for fresh weekend entertainment.Stellar Cast Shines On ScreenDirected by Karan Sharma, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ brings together a powerhouse ensemble of talented actors, including Seema Pahwa, Raghubir Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Zakir Hussain. While Wamiqa Gabbi portrays her ditzy yet daring character with flair, Rajkummar Rao delivers a heartfelt performance as Ranjan, a man caught in a bizarre time loop just before his wedding. According to our ETimes review, the supporting cast adds significant authenticity and charm to the film’s setting, while the story delivers a meaningful message disguised in lighthearted, repetitive moments. Audience and Critical ResponseThough the film’s journey to release was filled with its own back-and-forth drama—initially slated for a theatrical release, then shifted to OTT, and finally back to theaters—the audience reception has been fairly positive. Viewers have appreciated the film’s underlying themes and the fun, repetitive time-loop narrative that feels like a series of behind-the-scenes retakes. While the script may not have been groundbreaking for Rajkummar Rao, his performance, along with Wamiqa Gabbi’s, has been well-received. As the weekday numbers roll in, it will be interesting to see if ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ maintains its momentum and crosses further box office milestones.
