After facing multiple halts and obstacles, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ made it to the theatres on May 23, 2025. According to Sacnilk, the movie on its opening day made a business of Rs 7 crore, but over its debut weekend saw a substantial growth in the numbers. With a rise of more than 35 percent, on Saturday, the film made Rs. 9.5 crore, followed by a collection of Rs 11.5 crore on Sunday. Thereafter, on Monday, business saw a major dip, and the movie collected Rs 4.75 crore only as per the early estimates. With this, the total ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ after 4 days made Rs 32.75 crores.Despite tough competition from Hollywood releases and all the controversies around the release date, the movie is managing to maintain a pace at the box office.

Rajkummar and Wamiqa’s Bhool Chuk Maaf narrates the story of Ranjan, a young man who falls in love with a girl from Banaras. To get married to her, he struggles to find and get a government job; however, he breaks a vow made to Lord Shiva and soon finds himself ensnared by fate until he can rectify his mistake. In addition to the main actors, the film features Sanjay Mishra, Raghubir Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, and others.
