The dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu collectively added the remaining Rs 92 lakh, indicating the franchise’s continued appeal among urban, English-speaking audiences.Ballerina, headlined by Ana de Armas, is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 and Chapter 4, and has benefited from brand recognition and a visually immersive 4DX release. It has managed to secure the second-highest box office opening for a Hollywood film this weekend, trailing only behind How to Train Your Dragon, which is on track to cross the Rs 10 crore mark.Meanwhile, Materialists—a romantic comedy starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal, and directed by Celine Song—had a softer start, opening with Rs 60 lakh on Friday. However, the film doubled its collections on Saturday, earning Rs 1.31 crore and bringing its two-day total to Rs 1.91 crore.Though behind Ballerina in the domestic market, Materialist is making headlines globally. The film debuted with an impressive $12 million in North America, marking the third-highest opening ever for A24, behind only Civil War ($25.5 million) and Hereditary ($13.5 million).
