A recall has been issued for peaches sold across the country, the Food and Drug Administration announced Thursday. Moonlight Companies pulled their California-grown yellow and white peaches from major retailers—including Walmart, Kroger, Target, and Trader Joe’s—because they may be contaminated with Listeria. The bacteria was found in the peaches’ packing facility. Healthy adults typically only experience short-term symptoms from Listeria infections, such as nausea, fever, and diarrhea.
