India’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) is projected to have slowed down to 1.2 per cent year-on-year in April 2025, down from 3 per cent in March, according to a report by Union Bank of India (UBI). NEW DELHI: State-run telecom giant BSNL on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 280 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, marking its second consecutive profitable quarter after nearly two decades. NEW DELHI: India is likely to receive more rainfall than usual this monsoon season, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday.Updating its forecast, IMD said the country will get 106% of the long-period average (LPA) rainfall during the June to September season.
