Personality tests have always fascinated people because they offer insights into one’s hidden traits and unconscious behaviour. While traditional tests use questions to assess one’s character, modern psychology suggests that one’s body language, especially sitting posture, can also reveal a lot about a person’s true nature. How you sit when relaxed or unaware is often an expression of your inner mindset. For example, someone who sits cross-legged may have certain dominant traits as compare to another person who sits with both feet firmly on the ground. Even leaning forward or backward can hint at assertiveness or introversion. These subtle cues are often involuntary, making them powerful indicators of their personality. This is why many optical illusions and posture-based tests have gained much popularity these days— they combine fun and psychology to help you learn more about yourself in unexpected ways. Your natural sitting style might be saying more about you than you realize!

In a recent post on social media, Marina Winberg– who is a Neuraleaner- Antistress expert– shared what one’s sitting posture can reveal about their hidden nature. To take this test, simply notice how you normally sit– do you keep your knees straight, keep the knees apart, or by keeping your legs crossed? Notice your usual sitting posture and read what it tells about your true personality below:
