The shocking incident occurred during Summer Con, where the two were promoting the show. In a video message to fans, Hannah-Kim called it a “serious incident,” stating that “no one wants to be attacked at work.” She encouraged others to stand up for themselves but clarified this experience doesn’t reflect her time on Cobra Kai, praising the rest of the cast. According to a police report, the altercation began when she tapped Kove on the shoulder, he allegedly grabbed her arm, bit it hard enough to cause pain, then kissed the spot. Footage shows her confronting him outside the venue, asking if he was “raised in a ditch.” Kove admitted to the bite, calling it a joke, and later apologized publicly. Though Hannah-Kim declined to press charges, she had the injury documented.
